Pieter Nagel

Pieter Nagel is a semi retired businessman and has been involved with the North West Parks for close to 30 years, through his love for the bush he was financially responsible for the introduction of the Cheetahs as well as the Wild Dogs and contributed to the introduction of the Kruger Park bull elephants to the Pilanesberg National Park.

Due to the lack of funds for the Pilanesberg, Johnson Mahoeka, former parks manager and Gus Van Dyk, former ecologist, and myself, also decided to start the Pilanesberg newspaper which has today become a huge success for our tourists and visitors to the park

Thank you to all our sponsors. As a founder member of the Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust, we look forward to a meaningful role to develop environment conservation and eco-tourism and also to the people surrounding Pilanesberg National Park.

My wish and ambition is to see animals that are becoming extinct can be saved for the future generations to be admired in REAL LIFE.
