Joined Stocks & Stocks and was with that Group for 27 years, operating as CEO for 18 years. Left the Group in May 1999 and founded the Legacy Group, of which he is now Chairman, a company focused on eco- and urban renewal developments.

Has been responsible over the years for Sun City, the Lost City and Palace Hotel, the Mmabatho Sun, Goldfields Head Office, SAB Head Office and Thlabane Town Centre. Also established the company's interest in the leasure and timeshare industry and managed landmark projects such as Kwa Maritane, Bakubung and Tshukudu in the Pilanesberg National Park, Kruger Park Lodge near Hazyview and Centurion Lake Hotel.

A strong proponent of providing formal housing through job creation for the majority of the population who are living in shacks or are without shelter.

His goal: to make South Africa a winning nation.
